Faye Fantarrow dead: British singer mentored by Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart tragically dies aged just 21 after battling a rare brain tumour
British singer Faye Fantarrow has tragically died aged just 21.
The songstress died at home on Saturday after a brave battle with a rare glioma brain tumour, a year after she was diagnosed.
The family issued a statement announcing Faye’s passing and said they were ‘heartbroken’ as they paid tribute.
They said: ‘Faye had wisdom, compassion and understanding beyond her years.
‘We are beyond grief. We are beyond repair. We are cast adrift, before despair.
‘We are bereft of a love that outshone the stars, the moon and the sun.

‘There is a gaping void in our lives that can never be filled, our beautiful, compassionate, intelligent and immensely talented girl has gone.
‘Faye fought with strength and bravery that kept her with those she so desperately loved and who loved her beyond compare.
‘Faye was the sun, the light, the life we all gravitated to and wanted to be near, she gave us joy, laughter, and the gift of her music, she was the kindest most generous sol who had so much living left to do shine bright my baby.’
