Blunt plays Kitty Oppenheimer, the wife of Cillian Murphy’s J. Robert Oppenheimer in writer-director Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer.

The film is up for a whopping 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Murphy), Best Supporting Actress (Blunt), Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.), Best Director (Nolan) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Nolan).

Blunt most recently took home Best Supporting Actress at the Saturn Awards over the weekend.

She is also up for BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild awards in the coming weeks before awards season closes on Oscar Sunday.

The actress was also nominated for a Golden Globe last month, though she made headlines for an interaction with her husband John Krasinski on the red carpet.

Blunt was walking the red carpet with her husband of 13 years, Krasinski, who was spotted whispering something to his wife while they were getting photographed.

Some claim Krasinski said, ‘I can’t wait to get a divorce,’ and when Blunt said, ‘Hey,’ they believe he followed with, ‘I’m serious.’

Still, others claimed he said, ‘I can’t wait to get indoors,’ instead of, ‘I can’t wait to get a divorce,’ though the audio wasn’t clear enough to hear what was exactly said.

Neither Blunt nor Krasinski have publicly commented on what was actually said in the exchange at the Golden Globes.

Blunt will next be seen on the big screen in the theatrical remake of the 1980s TV series The Fall Guy, alongside Ryan Gosling.

She also lends her voice to the animated-live-action-hybrid film IF, which her husband John Krasinski both stars in, writes and directs.
