Eddie Hearn CONFIRMS Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron will fight again in Dublin this Autumn, after Taylor suffered her first-ever defeat as a professional in undisputed showdown
Eddie Hearn has confirmed Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron will fight once again in Dublin this autumn.
Taylor, fighting in Ireland for the first time as a professional, lost her unbeaten record as Cameron claimed a much-deserved majorty-decision victory.
Cameron was given the nod by two of the judges with scores of 96-94, with the other scoring it a draw at 95-95.
The 32-year-old, who remains unbeaten at 18-0 with a career-best win, also remains undisputed super-lightweight champion, now surely putting herself in pound-for-pound contention.
However, Cameron will have to do it all again, as Hearn immediately confirmed that Taylor has a rematch clause which they intend to activate.
