After scoring a crucial touchdown in Sunday afternoon’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles wideouts DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown both couldn’t stick the landing on their celebration.
Brown caught a touchdown pass and then tossed the ball to his friend, Smith to try and ‘dunk’ the football off the goalposts.
It was an attempt at re-creating the famous Dwyane Wade lob to LeBron James – but this time, it didn’t work.
Brown wasn’t able to catch the ball in mid-air in time and his jump was short – leading him to blame Smith as they jogged over to the sideline.
‘You gotta work on your [alley] oop,’ Brown told his fellow wide receiver.

Brown (L) and Smith (R) both watched their dunk and laughed at each other for their goof-up
‘Aye, you gotta have bounce man,’ Smith retorted.
Greeted by coaches who were laughing at him, Brown tried saving face through laughs as he said ‘The oop was bad.’
Smith over heard this and said, ‘Bron woulda caught that s**t’. Brown responded, ‘I ain’t LeBron.’
Brown led the Eagles’ receivers on the night with seven catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Smith also caught a touchdown pass – totaling three catches for 51 yards.
Philadelphia moved to 8-1 on the season with a 28-23 victory over their hated rivals at home.
