It comes after Cassie Plummer was hospitalised after a brutal fight with her drug dealer on Monday’s drama-filled episode of Coronation Street.
Cassie – played by newcomer Claire Sweeney – was seen begging Dean for a hit but he was furious after saying she hadn’t paid him previously and demanded £50.
But Claire was left helpless as she begged him for some product as she screamed: ‘Please I’m desperate’.
Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) then walked in on the fight as he tried to help Claire with her injuries and offered to take her to hospital.
But when they arrived Cassie got uncomfortable at having to see the doctor and as she tried to escape Dean confronted her again after following her to A&E.
Michael then ended up being punched in the face by Dean for trying to protect her as the drama continued.
As she returned home to her son Tyrone Dobbs she lied to his face about being injured saying she had fallen over when running for the bus after he had been worrying about her all day.
