Police in California have released a photo of a lusty couple who allegedly performed a sex act at the top of the stands during Sunday’s Athletics-Seattle Mariners game at RingCentral Coliseum.

No arrests have yet been made, but the couple – a man in a black shirt and woman wearing pink pants – have been pictured on surveillance footage as they headed towards the stadium at the weekend.

Earlier clips appeared to show the woman’s head in the man’s crotch region, although the resolution of the video was not particularly clear as it was taken from across the ballpark.

Nevertheless, it caught the attention of fellow spectators, one who decided to recorded the allegedly lewd act during the A’s vs. Mariners game.

Police are now hunting the couple who may have committed the crime of a lewd act in public and if charged and found guilty could face six months jail time and a $1,000 fine.

‘The Oakland Police Department was not alerted to this incident until after the game and we were advised that A’s staff/cameras did not capture video of this during the game,’ OPD Public Information Officer Candace Keas said in a statement.

‘We have initiated an investigation. However, the parties have not been identified and no one has been cited/arrested at this time. The violation is 647(a) PC. Lewd acts in public.’

The viral video surfaced during Oakland’s 5-3 win over Seattle, showing one individual seated in the upper left-field bleachers, seemingly engaged in a sex act with another person.

The couple was isolated in the stands on a day in which the A’s barely sold 9,000 tickets.

The humor of the situation has not been lost on resilient A's fans. One trio recorded themselves on Monday in the same section the couple was seated in a day earlier, only instead of engaging in a sex act, these spectators were holding humorous signs

While the couple was definitely in public, Athletics games have been more intimate affairs in recent seasons as attendance has dwindled.

Currently Oakland ranks dead last in the majors in attendance with less than 10,000 spectators per game.

The dearth of fans and the club’s struggles to secure a new stadium in the Bay Area have fueled rumors that the Athletics could follow the NFL’s Raiders in moving from Oakland to Las Vegas.

There were similar lewd antics in Toronto during the Toronto Blue Jays-Chicago Cubs game on Monday night.

Patrons were treated to more action than advertised as two fans found themselves intimately entangled high up in the bleachers.

The pair – who seemed to be on top of one another during an impassioned coitus – were quickly escorted from the stands during the game.

A video quickly spread across social media, showing the woman sitting firmly on top of the gentleman.

The pair were said to be in the 500 level of Rogers Centre as play went on on the field below.

Law enforcement informed TMZ there was no information regarding the incident, inferring the eager twosome escaped with a mild dosage of embarrassment and indeed a sense of relief.
