There’s a new rising star on the festive scene which every smart hotelier and holiday company will be wishing on this year: Twixmas.
It’s a term – derived from the old English word betwixt, for ‘between’ – that has been coined to describe the five-day lull after Boxing Day until New Year’s Eve, when not much is going on but which allows ample time for a cheeky getaway.
