A child has been rushed to hospital after plunging 10m from an apartment balcony.

NSW paramedics were called to an apartment building on Hythe Street in Mount Druitt, in Sydney’s west around 10.10am this morning after reports a child had fallen from a balcony.

The child was flown by a CareFlight helicopter to hospital.
