Chargers rookie Derius Davis scores first career touchdown with 87-YARD punt return against the Jets – the longest in the NFL this season – as he gets off the mark in style

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Derius Davis scored his first career touchdown against the New York Jets – and he did it in style.

In the first quarter of the Chargers’ Monday Night Football outing, Davis produced an incredible 87-yard punt return to open the scoring at MetLife Stadium.

It was the first touchdown of the 23-year-old’s career, seven months after he sealed a move to Los Angeles in the NFL draft.
