Cara Delevingne brings her own camera to Vogue World as British model makes an early arrival at Drury Lane venue ahead of Britain’s answer to the Met Gala
Cara Delevingne was the first high profile guest to arrive at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane ahead of Vogue World – dubbed Britain’s answer to the iconic Met Gala.
Better used to having her photo taken, the British model and actress carried her own camera as she made her way inside ahead of preparations for the forthcoming show.
Opting for a cropped varsity jacket and relaxed pin-stripe trousers, Cara, 31, looked relaxed ahead of what one expects to be a more glamorous red carpet appearance when the event gets underway.
She rounded off her look with a white woolen hat, while heavily tinted sunglasses appeared to be her only notable accessory on a bright and sunny day in the English capital.
Thursday’s event will serve as a fundraiser for Britain’s performing arts industry, with Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour overseeing proceedings.

The first Vogue World event featured a fashion show and street fair when it took place in New York’s meatpacking district in 2021, but the London ceremony is expected to be a grander affair.
It’s understood that Thursday’s dress code will be Opening Night, with the invitation’s revealing a West End stage decorated with by blood-red velvet curtains.
Wintour previously claimed the performing arts industry is “under threat'” meaning all proceeds from ticket sales will go to a range of theatre companies – among them the National Theatre, Royal Opera House and the Royal Ballet.
Cara’s appearance comes after she was seen leaving Burning Man after flooding left tens of thousands stranded in the Nevada desert.
The model was pictured leaving the festival with her pal Tessa Thompson after the storms dried up enough for party-goers to begin their exodus from the desert.
Cara and actress Tessa, 39, reportedly hiked for five miles to a paved road with their pals to their flashy vehicle, according to a post shared to social media.
In the snaps, Cara cut an edgy figure in what appeared to be waterproof trousers and a black fleece, which she styled with sturdy black trainers.
She walked with her belongings across her front in a backpack and appeared to be in good spirits despite the chaos as she flashed a peace out sign.

Tessa looked equally trendy in patterned trousers and a black T-shirt, while she had a jacket tied around her waist and shielded her eyes with oval sunglasses.
They were joined by other pals as they walked through the muddy roads after flooding from the summer storm.
Other pictures then showed Cara and Tessa reaching a paved road, where flashy vehicles waited to collect them.
