Burning Man 2023: Model Kelly Gale reveals dramatic before and after flooding pictures with fiancé Joel Kinnaman as the deadly festival descends into chaos
Kelly Gale stunned her fans on Tuesday by sharing dramatic before and after photos showing exactly what revellers experienced at the Burning Man Festival.
The Victoria’s Secret model, 28, posted the photos to Instagram which capture the hellish conditions she and her fiancé faced as the event flooded – and the blissful hours beforehand.
She first posted an ‘after’ shot showing her and Joel, 43, looking downbeat and holding hands as they waded through the Nevada desert’s muddy grounds.
Kelly protected herself from the harsh weather conditions in a baggy patterned blazer and jeans while Joel sported a tan T-shirt and matching pants.
‘We’re dressed for completely different climates,’ Kelly wrote next to the photo and added a laughing emoji.

The stunner then posted a precious ‘before’ snap of her and Joel packing on the PDA with a big kiss outside the festival shortly before the rain impacted their day.
It comes amid reports 73,000 revellers attending the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert were told to shelter in place and conserve food and water on Saturday after a massive rainstorm turned the site into a mud pit.
The final weekend of the hedonisitic event ground to a halt on Friday night as freezing, mud-caked conditions took over.
One festival-goer passed away during the event, with authorities yet to give details on their death.

‘Do not travel to Black Rock City!.’ Burning Man organisers tweeted, referring to the desert area where the alternative festival takes place.
‘Access to the city is closed for the remainder of the event, and you will be turned around’, organisers said in a statement on social media.
‘Rain over the last 24 hours has created a situation that required a full stop of vehicle movement,’ they explained.

About 150mm of rain is believed to have fallen on Friday at the festival site, located about 180km north of Reno, the National Weather Service in Reno said.
Organisers urged festivalgoers already on site to ‘conserve food, water and fuel, and shelter in a warm, safe space.’
Those not trapped in the grounds tried not to let the storms dampen their mood, however, with local bars packed with festivalgoers still hoping to make the most of a bad situation.
Upwards of 100,000 people are believed to have made their way to the Nevada wasteland this year, making it among the most attended in Burning Man’s history, and the event is always among the most hotly anticipated for festivalgoers every summer.
