Britney Spears REUNITES with mom Lynne for the first time in YEARS … as they chat at her home for a half-hour
Britney Spears reunited with her mother Lynne for the first time in years on Wednesday.
The Grammy-winning singer and her mother met at her home in Southern California and the mother and daughter spent a half-hour catching up, a source told TMZ.
According to the report from the outlet, the Oops!…I Did It Again artist ‘was receptive enough to let her inside her home and spend some time catching up’ after years of dissension between them stemming from the longtime conservatorship Britney lived under.
Lynne flew from her native Louisiana to LAX early Wednesday, TMZ reported, and was taken to the resident of Britney’s manager Cade Hudson. From there, she took an Uber to the home the singer shares with husband Sam Asghari, 29.
Britney was aware that her mother would be visiting, but did not know exactly when, a source told the outlet. Britney and her mother spent about a half-hour together, the source said, noting Asghari was also on hand.

Britney and her mother have been gradually getting on better terms with one another recently, and Lynne decided the timing was right for an in-person reconciliation, a source told TMZ.
Lynne has been ‘committed to making it right with her daughter,’ a source told the outlet, and Wednesday’s meeting was a step in that direction.
Following Lynne’s departure from the home, Britney and her husband went out for a drive, the source told the outlet.
Last fall, Britney ripped Lynne in a social media post asked her mom asked her to unblock her on Instagram.
The Toxic artist wrote, ‘Mom take your apology and go f*** yourself!!! And to all the doctors for f***ing with my mind … I pray you all burn in hell!!! Kiss my mother f***ing ass!!!!’
In the initial post, Britney brought up her own medical history and traumatic experiences she suffered in relation to her relatives.
‘For 13 years, I had to meet doctors weekly to bring up my past which made it worse!!!’ she said. ‘As for my whole family including my brother, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, and well damn the whole audience… were either stoned or drunk of their a**es!!’

Lynne commented on one of the …Baby One More Time singer’s posts about her grievances with her family, apologizing to Britney and asking her to unblock her.
‘I’m sooo sorry for your pain!’ she said. ‘I have been sorry for years! I love you so much and miss you! Please unblock me so I can speak to you in person! Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you! I apologize for anything and everything that’s hurt you!’
The singer last week called her husband an inspiration in a social media post Wednesday on the heels of reports the couple has had some turbulence in their marriage as they approach their one-year-wedding anniversary.
