Billionaire James Packer shows off his slimmed-down figure after 33kg weight loss as he goes for a walk with his ex wife Jodhi Meares in LA after spending Christmas together

James Packer has lost an impressive 33kg.

And on Wednesday, the Australian billionaire was looking trim and healthy as he spent time with his ex wife Jodhi Meares in Los Angeles.

The casino mogul and the former model were spotted going for a walk through Beverly Hills with some friends for the second time in a matter of weeks.

The Australian businessman, 56, opted for a loose-fitting blue shirt and baggy pants for the exercise session.

Despite having company, he wore Apple AirPods and completed his look with a pair of sneakers.

Meanwhile, Jodhi showed off her fit physique in a sleeveless white top teamed with dark blue leggings.

The Sydney-based fashion designer wore her hair down styled in soft, natural waves and also wore sunglasses.

The former couple were seen in the area just before Christmas, and are thought to have spent the festive season together.

Jodhi, the founder of activewear label The Upside, enjoys a close relationship with her ex-husband and regards him as a ‘close friend and adviser’.

The former couple married in a lavish ceremony in Sydney in 1999. Around 750 guests attended and Elton John performed at the reception.

However, they separated three years later in 2002 and divorced shortly after. Despite their marriage split, they have remained friends.

A recent authorised biography, The Price of Fortune: The Untold Story of Being James Packer by Damon Kitney, highlighted James’s close bond with his exes.

He told the author: ‘Jodhi is a great source of happiness and friendship in my life.’

James added that he also still talks to his second wife, Erica Packer (née Baxter), who he split with in 2013 after six years of marriage, ‘multiple times a day’.

‘I’m just so lucky to have them both in my life,’ he said, referring to Jodhi and Erica.

James currently splits his time between LA and Aspen. He plans to continue living in the U.S. to stay close to Erica and their children: Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle.

Meanwhile, James has lost over 33kg (72lbs or 5.2st) in the past two years and has also ditched the psychiatric medication that for so long altered his mood.

James told The Weekend Australian in June 2022 he was ready to start the ‘third act’ of his life, including a planned a return to his home city of Sydney.

‘I’m roughly 130kg now and want to be back to 100kg by the end of 2022. I want to swim with my kids at Bondi when we’re all in Sydney together next year and be 100kg,’ he said from his home in Mexico.

James revealed he’d quit the antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs he was taking, and was now looking to ‘rehabilitate’ his reputation in Australia.

In a subsequent interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, James said he had lost a total of 33kg and counting by quitting alcohol, following a strict diet and exercise regimen, and limiting his daily calorie intake.
