Britain’s Got Talent EXCLUSIVE teaser: Amanda Holden suggests putting together a One Direction style band – but this time with dogs
Amanda Holden comes up with a peculiar idea for a new act in scenes set to air during this Saturday’s instalment of Britain’s Got Talent.
In an exclusive clip from the episode, the talent show judge, 52, can be seen suggesting to her fellow panel the idea of assembling a ‘dog band’.
After a day of seeing the acts from up and down the country give it their best shot, Amanda said: ‘That gave me an idea, why don’t we try now and assemble, like, a dog band’.
As Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli laughed the suggestion off, show boss Simon wanted to know more.
‘So, like, what we did with One Direction, you want to do with dogs?’ clarified the mogul, to which his pal confirmed.

Newest judge Bruno let out a laugh after Amanda’s suggestion, with Simon pondering it.
The talent show is never short of dog acts, with pup Pudsey – who was a Border Collie, Bichon Frise, and Chinese Crested powderpuff cross – even winning in 2012 with his owner Ashleigh.
While One Direction were formed during the 2010 series of The X Factor, with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan entering as solo acts before the judges decided to put them together.
In upcoming scenes from Saturday’s episode, The Heart Breakfast host was seen standing in the theatre wings at the auditions, with Ant and Dec excitedly telling Amanda and her fellow judges they had sorted some new music for them to walk on stage to.
Ant told them: ‘You know you said you’re sick of your walk-on music? We’ve sorted it!’
Alesha asked them: ‘Based on our personal tastes?’, to which the Geordie due both exclaimed: ‘Yes! Yes!’
While Amanda predicted she would be walking out in front of the audience to a song from a West End show and Simon insisted his would be Aqua’s 1997 hit Barbie Girl, the pair were both wrong, as former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno was welcomed out to Ant and Dec’s tune.
Alesha walked out next, wearing a pink trouser suit, while Amanda and Simon watched on from the wings.

Amanda asked Simon: ‘Did someone once say there are 20 people in the world listening to that at any one time?’, to which he appeared to nod in agreement.
Actress Amanda was next to walk on stage, with the star wearing a red dress with a thigh-high split and cut out detail on the site, showing off her long slender legs.
She grabbed hold of her ankle and lifted her leg in the air as she danced to the music in a pair of heels.
Finally, Simon appeared on stage looking less then impressed as the merely walked to his seat, barely acknowledging the music.
Britain’s Got Talent is on Saturday on ITV at 8pm.
