Dawn’s Geraldine joked her parish had recently been full to the brim with Easter eggs following the recent celebration and she had made short work of getting rid of them.

She admitted she had been ‘tidying’ them away before adding ‘nom nom’, suggesting where they had disappeared to.

The vicar also offered advice on what to do with any leftover eggs, adding: ‘Just a little tip for all the mums and dads who are struggling in isolation – these halves make an excellent chocolate bra!’

Dawn’s sketch continued as she revealed there were a couple of misprints in the parish newsletter that she would like to correct.

She joked that she meant to congratulate two parishioners on having babies – not rabies – as well as playfully revealing she had suggested people go for a walk in the woods, rather than another activity.

The vicar also referenced her latest parish meeting, and said: ‘It was the best council meeting i’ve ever had, largely because none of the council members know how to get onto zoom!’

She added: ‘One of them called me to say that he bought an apple, I asked him which version and he said Granny Smith!’

On a more emotive note, she added: ‘This will pass. We Shouldn’t dwell too much over the sadness. This will pass.’

Geraldine joked that she tries to remember the happy times, before showing clips of herself dancing with Darcey Bussell and eating four Christmas lunches.

She added: ‘And of course. That puddle.’

The comedian also added how she has been keeping fit and said: ‘Jo thought this might be a good time to share my exercise regime with you. Hands on hips, head up, there we go.’

However she swiftly changed her mind and added: ‘Some people have been doing a little bit more exercise than that. But i can’t be bothered.’

She continued the video and said: ‘Praise the lord, and praise the NHS.  God bless you for watching,’

Dawn reprised her iconic role as Reverend Geraldine Granger (later Kennedy) after five years.

The iconic sitcom ran from 1994 before coming to an end in 2000.

However, the characters made comebacks on several occasions, namely for the show’s 10th and 20th anniversaries and well as for Comic Relief – with the last appearance being in 2015.
