‘Daddy cuddles – 8 days old. Can’t imagine how stressful and scary it was for you @samjameswood seeing our baby taken to special care nursery and me get taken away to another hospital all while keeping your cool and staying calm and not letting me see you worry,’ Snezana began.

‘Our little Harper had an infection and mama here sepsis but you never told me or showed me how serious it was or how worried you were. You stayed calm which kept me calm.’

Snezana went on to praise Sam for going back and forth between hospitals as they look forward to having their little girl home with her three older sisters.

‘I love you. Thank you again for being you, thank you for being my strength and helping me get through what has been the toughest most stressful three weeks we’ve ever experienced,’ she gushed.

‘You are my everything, I love you to the moon and back and couldn’t have gotten through this without you. Xx.’

Earlier on Friday, Snezana updated her fans on the progress of baby Harper and said she’s doing a lot better.

Sam announced the news of the baby’s birth earlier this month, uploading a photo gallery of Snezana and himself posing with Harper, as well as a caption detailing his wife’s health scare immediately after giving birth.

Posting a photo of Snezana lying in the hospital with Harper, Sam wrote: ‘So here’s a story from the last five days. On Wednesday May 4th, one month early we welcomed Harper Jones Wood to the world.

’30 minutes after this photo was taken. Snez became sick. Really sick and before we knew it Harper was off to the special care unit and Mum was into ICU.

‘Of course in true Snez mum fashion, her only thoughts were for her little baby and it was breaking her heart that she couldn’t hold her,’ he said.

‘After finding an infection that both Snez and Harper had picked up and some incredible care from the nurses and doctors they were reunited yesterday and both doing well. Swipe across to see the video of being reunited. Dad crying, oh it was soooo beautiful,’ he wrote.

‘Keep swiping to see all of the girls terrorising mum in her hospital room for Mothers Day this morning.

‘As a dad I love my girls more than anything in this world but there truly is no bond like that of mother and child.’

Sam wrapped up the post, ‘@snezanawood you really are the strongest and most beautiful person I know and like you, thank god the force is strong in little Harper.’
