Elvis star Austin Butler reveals he will attend the Golden Globe Awards next week with his sister Ashley and NOT his girlfriend Kaia Gerber
Austin Butler has already named his date for when he attends the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills next week.
The star – who has been nominated for his starring role in the film Elvis – shared on Thursday at the 2023 Palm Springs International Film Awards that he is taking as his plus one his only sister Ashley.
The actor did not mention his girlfriend Kaia Gerber, whom he was seen frolicking with by a swimming pool in Mexico over the weekend.

He has been dating Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s model daughter for the past year. While they are not often seen on a red carpet together, he did take her to the premiere of Elvis in May, even kissing the beauty at the event for all to see.
While talking to Entertainment Tonight, the 31-year-old said the decision to bring Ashley was ‘hard,’ but he added, ‘She’s my one and only sister, so it’ll be nice to be with her.’
Austin has said he did not see Ashley or his parents for about three years while he was working on the epic biopic Elvis.
‘My family’s so supportive, they’re just amazing,’ the star added.

The former Disney star looked dapper on Thursday in Palm Springs in a classic black tux and white shirt as he accepted the Breakthrough Performance Award for his portrayal of the King of Rock ‘n Roll.
On January 10, he will find out if he will take home another award.
He is competing in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama category at the Golden Globes.

Austin will be going up against veteran actors Brendan Fraser for The Whale, Hugh Jackman for The Son, Bill Nighy for Living, and Jeremy Pope for The Inspection.
While reflecting on the way portraying Elvis had affected his life, Austin stated, ‘He was somebody who was so true to himself, and it liberated a lot of people.
‘I know that was my experience playing him. It freed me in many ways. I’m very shy so it forced me to get things out of me. It’s a gift that he gave me.’
