You may have never heard of them, but Danielle Marsh and Hanni Pham are two of Australia’s biggest musical exports.
The teenagers shot to fame last year as members of the South Korean girl group NewJeans, and are now Vogue Australia cover girls.
The pair showcased their innocent beauty in a photoshoot for the prestigious fashion bible’s January issue.
In the cover image, Danielle, 18, wraps her arms around Hanni, 19, from behind.
Speaking to the publication in an extensive interview, the K-pop stars shared stories about their Australian upbringings and admitted that their Aussie accents have rubbed off on the other members of their group.

‘Dani and I, we’ve definitely shared a lot of our Australian accent with the other girls. If you give them a few years I’m sure they’ll sound like native Australians,’ said Hanni, who is of Vietnamese descent but was born and raised in Melbourne.
‘I feel like my Aussie-ness is sort of rubbing off on the other members,’ added Danielle, who is from Newcastle.
The pair also admitted that they miss Australia due to their packed schedules in South Korea and the rest of Asia.
‘I miss being able to see my family whenever I want to. What I miss the most are family meals and regular visits with all of my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, which I can only do once in a while now,’ said Hanni.
‘I’m so grateful for my childhood in Australia,’ Danielle added.

NewJeans have exploded onto the music scene in the last year, making a huge impact both in South Korea and globally.
Their EP Get Up hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and five of their singles have charted on the Hot 100.
The group have also found success in Australia, most notably with their hit Super Shy, which peaked at No. 14 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

Outside of music, the group have become global fashion icons with endorsement deals and sponsorships with luxury brands.
Hanni is a Gucci ambassador and the face of Armani Beauty, while Danielle represents Burberry.
The group’s other members have their own endorsements with the likes of Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Dior.
Together, they also represent Coke Zero, Levi’s, Apple’s iPhone, and McDonald’s.
