Ankur and Sharon’s real estate agent says drama on The Block doesn’t reflect their ‘winning house’

Ankur and Sharon’s real estate agent says drama on The Block doesn’t reflect the couple’s ‘winning house’ ahead of auction day

Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra’s real estate agent has spoken out about representing The Block’s controversial couple during the final auction.

Sean Parker from Macedon Ranges Sotheby’s International Realty told host Shelley Craft on The Block Official Podcast, on screen drama shouldn’t reflect the couple’s house.

‘I think it’s a house you need to see. Yes if you watch the show, you probably wouldn’t want to come to House three, but people who do make it up are quite impressed,’ he said.

‘In fact I have had comments to say it is the winning house.’

Mr Parker also said there has been some interest in the home from interstate buyers.

‘There’s been some interest from interstate, we’ve had a couple of buyers from NSW come down as investors so there’s a bit of a mix,’ he said.

It comes after Sharon and Ankur were less than impressed with the judges’ feedback during Monday’s outdoor reveals.

Darren Palmer, Neale Whitaker and Shaynna Blaze criticised the location of the pool area and al fresco dining space.

‘This is very, very poor planning. I think it takes away from the majesty of this house and does not add value,’ Shaynna remarked.

‘It’s a pool you can’t access and a fire pit [hidden] in a laneway,’ she added.

Darren agreed, saying: ‘You’ve got a main bedroom and ensuite and this outdoor area that’s not connected to the living space.’

After listening to the feedback, Ankur said: ‘No disrespect to the judges but I don’t really care what they say with it being the last [reveal].

‘The house will sell itself regardless.’

‘You can keep your comments and smoke it,’ Sharon added.
