Ana de Armas keeps it casual out in LA… after Universal is SUED for featuring her in ads for Yesterday only to cut her from final film

Ana de Armas kept it casual when she was spotted out and about in sunny Los Angeles this week running errands.

The 33-year-old Bond girl warded off the January chill in a cozy-looking Late Checkout sweater that retails online for €220 ($249.64).

She swept her luxurious dark hair into a ponytail, shading her face with a baseball cap and accessorizing with a black handbag that matched her leggings.

Her latest outing comes after Ana’s movie career became the subject of a bizarre class action lawsuit being brought against Universal Pictures.

Two people who saw the movie Yesterday were apparently incensed that Ana was included in the ads for the movie but cut from the final version that they saw.

The plaintiffs, who are said to have paid $3.99 each to see the movie, are filing suit for $5 million, according to TMZ.

Directed by Danny Boyle from a script by Richard Curtis, the 2019 movie stars Himesh Patel as an unsuccessful musician who gets hit by a bus.

The duo met in 2019 while filming the erotic thriller Deep Water with director Adrian Lyne, whose previous movies in the genre include Fatal Attraction and Unfaithful.

Last month it emerged that Deep Water has been yanked from Disney’s release schedule for reasons that have not yet gone public, Deadline reported.

Although it was meant to be released in November 2020, the coronavirus lockdowns saw it pushed up to this August, and then it was delayed again to January 2022 before news broke that it had been taken off the schedule altogether.
